Technical Features
- Hull: CE-certified hand-laid fibreglass deep-V hull with a 2.52 m beam and reinforced offshore construction. At 6.8 metres, the 680B delivers the longest waterline in the range, translating to superior directional stability and seakeeping in challenging conditions. Self-bailing deck. Hull colours: white, navy, battleship grey, black, or custom RAL.
- Tubes: 52 cm diameter with 7 independent air chambers providing maximum safety margins and buoyancy for the 1,350 kg max load. Tube colours: black, grey, white, orange, red, or blue. Hypalon upgrade recommended for extended tube life in demanding sun exposure.
- Deck & Layout: Centre console with windscreen, dual front and rear cabin cushions, seat box, fibreglass anchor tray, 100 L built-in fuel tank, and stainless steel ski bar for towed activities. The targa arch with 3 navigation lights is standard. Optional luxury console, shower system, and electric anchor winch enhance operational capability.
- Engine & Performance: Accepts outboards up to 200 HP (149.13 kW). With 150–200 HP, expect cruising speeds of 26–32 knots and top speeds of 36–44 knots — ideal for fast offshore transit, passenger transport schedules, and heavy-load towing operations.
- Safety: 7-chamber construction provides exceptional redundancy. Bilge pump, targa arch with 3 navigation lights, stainless steel boarding ladder, full-length grab lines, and stainless steel handrails for secure movement in rough conditions.
- Manufacturing & Quality: Hand-laid GRP hull with isophthalic polyester resin and UV-stable gelcoat. Tubes assembled via hot-air thermofusion welding. Hull structure vacuum-bagged. Every hull water-tested for 72 hours.
- Certifications: CE Category B (offshore) certified under EU Directive 2013/53/EU. ISO 9001:2015 quality management. Hull warranty 5 years, tube warranty 2 years.
- Customisation: Full customisation for commercial fleets — hull and tube colours, console and seating layout, electronics package, and vessel graphics.
Ideal Uses
The RIB680B is built for boaters, fishing enthusiasts, dive operators, and marine professionals who need a 6.8 m RIB capable of carrying up to 10 persons for offshore expeditions, commercial diving support, and extended fishing trips with superior comfort and equipment. The 200 HP rating, spacious dual-cabin layout, and ski bar make it equally well suited to high-speed passenger charter operations, dive support where deck space for tanks and gear is critical, and heavy-duty towing applications such as inflatable tow toys or research equipment.
