RIB500
The RIB500 is a 5.0-metre rigid-hull inflatable boat that bridges the gap between the 4.8-metre and larger platforms, offering a 2.10 m beam, 52 cm tube diameter, and 5 air chambers for enhanced offshore capability. Designed for offshore fishing, expedition support, and commercial transport and rated for up to 60 HP, it delivers additional deck length and tube volume for users who need more boat without stepping up to a larger platform. At 314 kg net weight with a 686 kg max load for 6 persons, it is the most substantial model in this series.

Technical Features
- Hull: CE-certified hand-laid fibreglass deep-V hull with a 2.10 m beam, offering a stable platform that transitions comfortably from coastal waters to offshore conditions. The 314 kg net weight reflects a robust layup suitable for heavier seas. Gelcoat colour options: white, grey, navy, red, or custom RAL.
- Tubes: Hypalon/PVC tubes with a substantial 52 cm diameter and 5 independent air chambers. The larger tube diameter compared to the 480 series (48 cm) provides increased buoyancy and a higher payload capacity. Tube colour choices include black, grey, white, orange, red, and blue.
- Deck & Layout: Centre console layout with front and back cabins, stainless steel back rest, a 60 L built-in fuel tank, and a fibreglass or stainless steel targa arch with 3 navigation lights. The 2.10 m beam provides generous deck space.
- Engine & Performance: Max engine rating of 60 HP (44.74 kW). The 314 kg hull is the heaviest in this series and performs best with a 50-60 HP outboard. Max load of 686 kg provides a solid working payload for extended offshore trips.
- Safety: 5 air chambers, bilge pump, and targa-mounted navigation lights as standard. The larger tubes and deep-V hull contribute to a stable, predictable ride in choppy conditions.
- Manufacturing: Hand-laid fibreglass hull with vinylester resin. Tubes assembled using thermofusion welding for leak-proof seams. Every hull tank-tested for 48 hours prior to fitting.
- Certifications: CE approved under the EU Recreational Craft Directive. ISO 9001 quality management system. Hull warranty 5 years, tube warranty 2 years.
- Customisation: Full customisation available — choose tube and hull colours, console layout, seating configuration, and graphics for fleet, government, or OEM orders.
Ideal Uses
The RIB500 is aimed at boaters, fishing enthusiasts, marine professionals, and commercial operators who need a 5.0 m RIB capable of coastal and offshore operations. It suits those who find the 4.8-metre models too compact but do not require a larger platform, offering a balanced middle ground for longer-range day trips, expedition support, and light commercial use with the largest tube volume in this series for added buoyancy and load capacity.
