The RIB520W is the widest 5.2-metre model in the Aquafarer range with an impressive 2.35 m beam that provides exceptional deck space and at-rest stability. Despite its generous proportions, it weighs just 230 kg — remarkably light for a wide-beam RIB this size — and supports outboard engines up to 85 HP. With an 8-person, 980 kg payload capacity, this open-deck platform is purpose-built for dive operations, guided fishing charters, and passenger transport where a stable, spacious deck is more critical than outright speed.

Technical Features

• Hull: CE-certified hand-laid fibreglass deep-V hull with a class-leading 2.35 m beam — the widest of any 5.2-metre model in the range. At just 230 kg, the 520W combines the stability of a wide-beam platform with the towing convenience of a much smaller boat. Gelcoat in white, grey, navy, red, or custom RAL.
• Tubes: 52 cm diameter Hypalon tubes with 5 independent air chambers. The combination of a 2.35 m beam and 52 cm tubes creates an extraordinarily stable platform, both at rest and when underway in choppy conditions. Tube colours: black, grey, white, orange, red, or blue. PVC standard; Hypalon upgrade available.
• Deck & Layout: Open layout with two bench seats and a front cabin cushion. The wide 2.35 m beam provides generous deck space for passengers and dive gear. A fibreglass anchor tray is standard. Optional console with windscreen, seat box, and teak floor allow full customisation.
• Engine & Performance: Max engine rating 85 HP (63.38 kW). The light 230 kg hull planes readily even with modest power, and the 980 kg max load means it carries 8 persons without sacrificing performance. Estimated speeds: cruising 22–28 knots, top 30–40 knots.
• Safety: 5 air chambers provide significant redundancy. The wide beam contributes to inherent stability, and an optional stainless steel targa with 3 navigation lights enhances low-light safety.
• Manufacturing & Quality: Hand-laid fibreglass hull with vinylester resin and gelcoat. Tubes assembled via thermofusion welding for leak-proof seams. Every hull tank-tested for 48 hours prior to fitting.
• Certifications: CE approved under the EU Recreational Craft Directive. ISO 9001:2015 certified. Hull warranty 5 years, tube warranty 2 years.
