Sport Inflatable Boat (Drop-Stitch Floor)
Lightweight sport inflatable boat with high-pressure drop-stitch floor for superior rigidity and portability.
Versatile sport inflatable boat with rigid aluminum floor for excellent performance and durability.
A lightweight sport inflatable boat with a slip-resistant aluminum alloy floor panel system. The rigid floor provides a flat standing surface, improves planing performance, and protects the hull bottom from abrasion. Easy to assemble and disassemble for transport.
The Aquafarer AQDB series is a complete inflatable boat line for the global B2B market, built around a multi-chamber safety design and a choice of floor systems. The AKB aluminum-floor configuration delivers the flat, rigid standing surface serious boaters expect from a hard-floor boat — with the packability of an inflatable.
Every AQDB model is equipped with 3+1, 4+1, 5+1, 8+1, or 9+1 independent air chambers. Because the chambers are isolated from each other, the boat keeps sufficient buoyancy even if a single chamber leaks — a level of redundancy many competitors do not offer at this price point.
The AKB floor is an interlocking slat system machined from aviation-grade aluminum. The panels lock into the inflatable keel and side tubes, transferring thrust from the outboard evenly across the hull for efficient planing. The anodized finish resists corrosion, and individual slats can be replaced without replacing the whole floor.
Tubes are built from 0.9mm PVC on 1100 dtex high-density polyester — thicker than the 0.7mm fabric used by many competing brands. The material resists abrasion, UV, and repeated inflation cycles, giving a service life suited to commercial use.
The line covers 12 sizes from 7’7” to 18’1” (16 models), from compact two-person tenders to 13-person workhorses rated to 610kg and 15 HP. Optional extras include life vests, electric pumps, carbon-steel anchors, seat-board packs, bow bags, simple trailers, and boat covers — seven optional accessories that lock in order value per unit.
Recreational boaters, anglers, rental operators, and utility users who need a portable inflatable boat with rigid floor performance. The aluminum floor is more affordable than drop-stitch, simpler to repair, and available across a wide size range for fleet customization.
Smaller AQDB models (7’7” to 10’) suit solo angling, tender duty, and compact trailers. Mid-size models (11’ to 14’) are the sweet spot for families and rental fleets, combining room for several passengers with outboard power in the 6-10 HP range. The largest models (15’ to 18’1”) deliver genuine workboat capacity — up to 13 passengers, 610kg of load, and 15 HP — for commercial, utility, and rescue roles.
The AKB floor breaks down into individual slats that stow inside the boat bag. Two adults can assemble or disassemble the complete boat in under ten minutes: lay out the tubes, inflate to 0.25-0.3 bar, drop in the slats, lock the side tubes, and attach the transom. The packed boat fits in a standard car trunk or on a roof rack.
Rinse the boat and floor with fresh water after use, especially in saltwater. Keep the aluminum slats dry before storage to prevent oxidation, and check the interlocking edges for burrs after rough landings. Inflate tubes only to the rated pressure — overinflation stresses the seams — and store the boat partially deflated, away from direct sunlight.
Inflatable boats with soft floors lack the rigidity needed for planing performance and standing comfort. Users need a floor that is rigid enough for outboard motor operation yet removable for portable storage.

Compared to drop-stitch floor SIBs, the aluminum floor is heavier but more rigid and less expensive. It provides a flatter standing surface than inflatable floors but takes slightly longer to assemble. More durable against sharp objects than drop-stitch floors.
