Technical Features
- Hull: CE-certified hand-laid fibreglass deep-V hull with a 2.28 m beam. At 360 kg, the 520C is lighter than the 520B — achieved through a simplified cabin configuration that prioritises passenger comfort. Gelcoat in white, grey, navy, red, or custom RAL.
- Tubes: 52 cm diameter Hypalon tubes with 5 independent air chambers. The wide beam and generous tube volume combine for excellent at-rest stability and a dry ride at cruising speed. Tube colours: black, grey, white, orange, red, or blue. PVC standard; Hypalon upgrade optional.
- Deck & Layout: Centre console with windscreen, front and rear cabins with cushions, and a dedicated sun deck cushion for passenger lounging. Stainless steel grab handles improve safety when moving around the deck. The standard targa arch with 3 navigation lights enables operations from dawn to dusk.
- Engine & Performance: Max engine rating 85 HP (63.38 kW). The 360 kg hull accelerates briskly with an 85 HP outboard, offering efficient cruising with 8 persons aboard. Estimated speeds: cruising 22–28 knots, top 30–40 knots.
- Safety: 5 air chambers, bilge pump, stainless steel grab handles, and targa-mounted navigation lights for enhanced low-light visibility.
- Manufacturing & Quality: Hand-laid fibreglass hull with vinylester resin and gelcoat. Tubes assembled via thermofusion welding. Every hull tank-tested for 48 hours prior to fitting.
- Certifications: CE approved under the EU Recreational Craft Directive. ISO 9001:2015 certified. Hull warranty 5 years, tube warranty 2 years.
- Customisation: Full customisation — tube and hull colours, console layout, seating, and graphics for fleet, government, or OEM orders.
Ideal Uses
The RIB520C caters to boaters, fishing enthusiasts, marine professionals, and commercial operators who want a 5.2 m RIB with a wide beam, centre console, and integrated lighting for coastal and offshore use. The sun deck cushion and stainless steel handles make it particularly suited to leisure-focused charter operations, water sports tow duty, and family offshore adventures where passenger comfort and onboard lounging space are priorities.
