Technical Features
- Hull: CE-certified hand-laid fibreglass deep-V hull engineered to slice through light chop while maintaining excellent low-speed stability. The 145 cm beam and 60 kg net weight make the RIB250 easy to launch, beach, and retrieve without a trailer. Hull colour customisation available on request — choose from white, navy, grey, or custom RAL.
- Tubes: 38 cm diameter Hypalon inflatable tubes with 3 independent air chambers for puncture redundancy. Fitted with continuous grab lines and reinforced lifting points fore and aft. Tube colours available in black, grey, white, orange, or blue. Hypalon or PVC material options to suit your budget and UV exposure conditions.
- Deck & Layout: Open, uncluttered deck layout accommodates 3 persons with room for basic fishing gear or picnic supplies. Self-bailing design keeps the deck dry. Lightweight construction enables rowing or low-speed trolling without engine noise.
- Engine & Performance: Rated for 2-stroke or 4-stroke outboard engines up to 4.4 HP (3.25 KW), delivering efficient displacement-speed cruising for lake, harbour, and sheltered coastal use. Estimated cruising speed 6–10 knots, top speed 10–14 knots depending on load, engine, and water conditions. Fuel consumption approximately 1.5–2.5 L/h at cruising speed.
- Safety: 3 air chambers provide redundant flotation — the boat remains afloat if any single chamber is compromised. Non-slip deck surface, bow and stern lifting handles, and a towing eye included as standard. Recommended supplemental safety gear: life jackets, throw line, handheld VHF, and a small fire extinguisher.
- Manufacturing & Quality: Hand-laid fibreglass hull with vinylester resin for osmosis resistance. Tubes assembled using hot-air thermofusion welding for air-tight, high-strength seams. Every hull undergoes a 48-hour quality soak test and a 24-hour pressure-hold test before delivery.
- Certifications: CE certified under EU Recreational Craft Directive 2013/53/EU (Category C — coastal). ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Hull warranty 5 years, tube warranty 2 years, buoyancy warranty 5 years.
- Customisation: Custom hull graphics, tube colours, console layouts, and branding available for OEM, private label, and fleet orders. Minimum order quantities apply for custom builds.
Ideal Uses
Purpose-built for boaters, anglers, and marine professionals who require a compact, portable RIB for lake and sheltered coastal operations. The RIB250 excels as:
- Yacht tender: Light enough for davit lifting or car-top transport, stable enough for transferring crew and provisions between yacht and shore
- Camp fishing boat: Easily transported in a pickup bed or on a roof rack, launches without a trailer, and trolls quietly at low RPM
- Marina utility craft: Ideal for light maintenance runs, buoy checks, and short-distance harbour shuttles
- First RIB: Beginner-friendly size, minimal power requirements, and forgiving handling make it an excellent entry point for new boat owners
Its compact footprint and low operating costs make it a practical choice for weekend sailors, lakeside property owners, and coastal holiday homes.
