Aquafarer Partners with US Water Rescue Association for Training Equipment
Aquafarer RIBs and rescue equipment selected as standard training platforms for US Water Rescue Association chapters nationwide.
Equipping the Rescuers
Aquafarer has entered into a partnership with the US Water Rescue Association (USWRA) to supply RIB boats, rescue throw bags, and life vests for training programs across 30 chapters nationwide.
The partnership covers the Aquafarer RIB 450 Patrol — A 14.8 ft rigid-hull inflatable designed for swift-water and open-water rescue operations — Along with the Life Vest Pro SOLAS-certified automatic life vests for rescue personnel.
“Aquafarer equipment meets the rigorous demands of water rescue training,” said Captain Diane Foster, USWRA Training Director. “The RIB 450 Patrol’s stability at low speeds and responsiveness in swift water make it an excellent platform for teaching both basic and advanced rescue techniques.”
The agreement includes discounted pricing for USWRA chapters, dedicated technical support, and joint development of a rescue-specific training curriculum. Aquafarer will also provide RIB 450 Patrol units for the USWRA’s annual National Water Rescue Conference.
