Technical Features
- Hull: CE-certified hand-laid fibreglass deep-V hull with a 2.38 m beam, designed for demanding offshore conditions. The 450 kg hull strikes an excellent balance between structural robustness and trailering practicality. Self-bailing deck. Hull colours: white, navy, battleship grey, black, or custom RAL.
- Tubes: 52 cm diameter with 5 air chambers providing reliable buoyancy and a stable platform. Tube colours: black, grey, white, orange, red, or blue. Standard PVC construction; Hypalon upgrade available for extended UV resistance.
- Deck & Layout: Centre console with windscreen, front and rear cabin cushions, seat box, fibreglass anchor tray, and 90 L built-in fuel tank. The stainless steel ski bar adds towed activity capability, and the targa arch with navigation lights enables all-weather operation.
- Engine & Performance: Supports outboards up to 115 HP (85.75 kW). With a 90–115 HP engine, expect cruising speeds of 22–26 knots and top speeds of 30–36 knots, delivering brisk offshore cruising and confident towing of water sports participants.
- Safety: 5-chamber redundancy, bilge pump, stainless steel targa with integrated navigation lights, ski bar for towed activities, and stainless steel handles for secure deck movement.
- Manufacturing & Quality: Hand-laid GRP hull with isophthalic polyester resin and UV-stable gelcoat. Tubes assembled via hot-air thermofusion welding. Hull structure vacuum-bagged for optimal glass-to-resin ratio. Every hull water-tested for 72 hours.
- Certifications: CE Category B (offshore) certified under EU Directive 2013/53/EU. ISO 9001:2015 quality management. Hull warranty 5 years, tube warranty 2 years.
- Customisation: Full customisation for commercial fleets — hull and tube colours, console and seating layout, electronics package, and vessel graphics.
Ideal Uses
The RIB580A is built for boaters, fishing enthusiasts, marine professionals, and commercial operators who need a 5.8 m RIB capable of carrying 8 persons for coastal patrols, offshore fishing expeditions, and water sports in demanding marine environments. The 1,200 kg payload capacity and 90 L fuel tank make it especially well suited to extended offshore charters, expedition support, and multi-day fishing trips where payload and range are critical.
