RIB300
The 3-metre Aquafarer RIB300 accommodates up to four persons with a 450 kg load capacity and pairs with outboards up to 20 HP for genuine planing performance on lakes, wide rivers, and coastal waters. Its hand-laid fibreglass deep-V hull and 42 cm Hypalon tubes strike a refined balance between agility, stability, and payload — making it one of the most popular sub-3.5 m RIBs for family recreation, hobby fishing, and light commercial operations.

Technical Features
- Hull: CE-certified hand-laid fibreglass deep-V hull delivers a smooth, dry ride in choppy conditions. The 160 cm beam keeps the boat stable at rest while the V-shaped entry cuts through wakes efficiently. At 90 kg, it remains practical for trailer towing behind a small car. Hull colour options: white, navy, grey, black, or custom RAL finish.
- Tubes: 42 cm diameter Hypalon tubes with 3 independent air chambers provide generous buoyancy and soft landing alongside docks. Continuous grab lines and four lifting points come standard. Tube colours: black, grey, white, orange, or blue. Choose between Hypalon (premium UV resistance) or PVC (cost-effective) material.
- Deck & Layout: Open deck layout with seating for four and ample storage for fishing tackle, dive gear, or picnic supplies. Self-bailing design prevents water accumulation. Console-mounting provisions allow easy upgrade to a jockey console with mechanical steering.
- Engine & Performance: Rated for 2-stroke or 4-stroke outboards up to 20 HP (14.91 KW). The RIB300 planes readily with a 15 HP engine and a typical crew of 3–4. Estimated cruising speed 12–17 knots, top speed 18–24 knots depending on load, engine, and conditions. Fuel consumption approximately 3–6 L/h at cruising speed.
- Safety: Three independent chambers ensure positive flotation even if any single chamber is compromised. Self-bailing deck, non-slip surfaces, bow/stern lifting handles, and towing eye included as standard. Hypalon fabric resists UV degradation, abrasion, and petroleum products.
- Manufacturing & Quality: Hand-laid fibreglass hull with vinylester resin for osmosis resistance. Tubes assembled using hot-air thermofusion welding for air-tight, high-strength seams. Every hull undergoes a 48-hour quality soak test and a 24-hour pressure-hold test before delivery.
- Certifications: CE certified under EU Recreational Craft Directive 2013/53/EU (Category C — coastal). ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Hull warranty 5 years, tube warranty 2 years, buoyancy warranty 5 years.
- Customisation: Custom hull graphics, tube colours, console layouts, and private-label branding available for OEM and fleet orders.
Ideal Uses
Designed for families, fishing enthusiasts, and commercial operators who need a versatile 3-metre RIB for lake and coastal environments:
- Family day boating: Stable 160 cm beam and 4-person capacity make it ideal for family outings — water sports, beach picnics, and harbour tours. The 20 HP ceiling keeps operating costs low while delivering thrilling planing performance.
- Hobby fishing & angling: Ample deck space for two anglers, with room for a livewell, tackle storage, and catch bags. Troll at low speed or drift-fish with the engine tilted — the deep-V hull remains stable beam-to.
- Yacht tender (up to 50 ft): The 3-metre length suits medium to large yachts, providing comfortable crew transfers and provisioning runs. The 90 kg hull weight allows stern davit or platform lifting.
- Dive support: Easy entry and exit over the tubes, enough deck space for two sets of dive gear, and a reliable platform for surface intervals.
- Light commercial / marina operations: Harbour patrol, equipment shuttling, mooring maintenance — the RIB300 handles daily utility tasks with minimal fuel consumption.
Its balanced proportions and accessible power requirements make it a logical choice for first-time RIB buyers stepping up from a rigid dinghy, as well as experienced operators adding a second vessel to their fleet.
