High-Speed Racing Catamaran (AQHB)

The Aquafarer AQHB Series is an inflatable catamaran engineered for speed without the instability that plagues monohull inflatable boats. Twin straight cylinders and a wide 200cm beam give the boat a stable, roll-resistant platform that tracks straight and holds course in beam seas.

Twin-Hull Stability at Speed

The catamaran layout places buoyancy wide and low. Each hull is built from a 45-50cm diameter straight cylinder divided into 4+1 independent air chambers, so the boat keeps its reserve buoyancy even if a chamber is damaged. At planing speeds the twin-hull design resists the rolling motion typical of round-tube monohulls, keeping passengers comfortable and gear in place.

Size Range and Engine Options

The series spans eight models from the AQHB-10’10” (330cm) to the AQHB-15’5” (470cm). The 10’10” to 11’10” models perform well with 15-25 HP engines, the 12’6” to 14’1” range takes 30-40 HP, and the largest 14’9” to 15’5” models deliver best performance with 40-50 HP.

Standard Equipment

Every AQHB ships with 1 pair of aluminum alloy paddles, 1 pedal air pump, a maintenance bucket, a boat bag, and two seat plates — everything needed for the first launch. Custom Pantone colors are available for OEM and rental fleet branding.

Care & Maintenance

Rinse the hull with fresh water after saltwater use and dry it before long-term storage. Keep inflation at the manufacturer-rated pressure and check pressure before each launch, as temperature changes affect it overnight. Store the boat deflated and folded out of direct sunlight to protect the PVC fabric from UV degradation, and periodically inspect the valve bases and chamber seams for wear.
